Santa Cruz Real Estate and Technology Working Together

Hi, this is Matt Gerig. I'm the graphic designer and marketing director for a Santa Cruz real estate company. American Dream Realty has 3 Santa Cruz County office locations each specializing in unique properties like Santa Cruz Beach Homes, Santa Cruz Mountain properties, and Scotts Valley homes for sale. One of my goals for this new year was to be able to handle my real estate transactions from any of these locations. These days you need to be 100% mobile and well organized. The real estate market is very competitive and you really need to manage your time efficiently. Here is a list of gadgets I have decided to purchase to help me achieve my goals.

Here are a few of the advantages for each product I have purchased this year.

IMac
Advantages: 1. No malware and strange error codes yet 2. Its was a very easy learning curve when switching operating systems. 3. Very simple to network to any printers, where ever I am. 4. Beautiful 27" screen with high resolution for when I am working on marketing

IPhone 4
Advantages: 1. For me the best thing on this phone is how quickly I can go through clients in my contact list. 2. The Hot Spot feature gives me internet connection anywhere I have cell phone service. Works great for open houses. 3. Great battery life. 4. No freezing of the screen when on a phone call.

Ipad 2
Advantages: 1. Great for real estate presentations. 2. Very portable to carry in your daily life. 3. Works perfect with hot spot from phone. 4. Very easy to search mls when being on the go at all times.

At this point your asking yourself "Is this person a sales rep for apple?" The answer is NO. The reason I have chosen all apple products is to sync everything together and I only need to enter my contacts and real estate notes in one place and it will transfer to all my devices flawlessly. In conclusion it has saved me time and I am able to handle my real estate business from any location and be a better real estate agent for my clients giving them information instantly. I have passed on my experience's with my Santa Cruz Realtors and we have some very happy and efficient agents.
